Uğurlu Apart Gökçeada

Beautiful place for families - great attitude from owners - showing us around, offering help, explaining things about the island. Apartment with 2 big balconies with sea view; wonderful garden, local products; we were always welcomed with an offer for tea and coffee; Owners solved some serious problems for us. Overall great experience, we had an amazing holiday.

The place was very clean. Kitchenware is enough. We could not use the garden well due to the epidemic, but there is a garden layout that can host many families at the same time. There was a spacious house arrangement, no extra items. There was 1 large bed and 2 sofa beds in the apartment we stayed in. I don't know the others. There was no problem with hot water in the bathroom. No matter what time it was, there was water at the same temperature in the kitchen and in the bathroom, opening a faucet from another place did not change the intensity or temperature of the water. No hostel is near the beach, including the ones closer to the sea in Uğurlu. It is walkable but there is a more convenient distance to go by car. (partly due to beach stuff). The beach was like a mixture of coarse sand and tiny pebbles, and the sea water was very clear. The westernmost part of the island was not crowded (as of September) as it was a bit far from the center and the port, and it was easy to keep the distance. It was bad on some parts of the arrival road due to road construction work. The works were very close to the end, and I think those coming next year will be very comfortable as they expand the roads. In addition, there are grocery stores to meet urgent needs, open peasant bazaar every day, hand-rolled pancakes and a few places to go to eat.

It was my second visit to this wonderful island after 30 years. Mrs. Buse and her father showed great effort to make us comfortable in the apartment. They handed us an immaculate apart room. I and my family delivered it immaculately. There were a few minor absences in the apartment. (Kitchen and corridor lamps were not lit. The light in the living room was insufficient. The sofa beds in the living room were very hard. The shower head in the bathroom was broken. It would be helpful if one more cabinet from the bedroom is put next to the sofa bed in the living room.) It would be good if an additional electrical outlet is made in the living room and bedroom. The rooms, kitchen, bathroom, balcony were very clean. It was a great feeling to wake up to the sounds of roosters and goats in the morning. We couldn't get enough of watching the mountain and sea views from the balcony. Iskele (Kuzulimanı) 32 km from Uğurlu village. It took an hour to reach the village as there was work on the road. It was more than wonderful to swim and sunbathe at Uğurlu, Lazkoyu and Secret port beaches (4-8 minutes by car) accompanied by fish. We stayed in your apartment for five days, but we could not get enough of swimming and sunbathing on the magnificent beaches. I wish we could stay longer. Stay well.

- Buse lady and Hakan Bey approach was extremely sincere. Expectations of all of us from an apartment may be different, but everyone expects sincerity and courtesy about their manager. This is very common in both. We had a peaceful holiday .. - They send a message to those who want to make a reservation that can answer all questions and problems that may come to mind. In this way, you can make your preliminary preparation completely. Still, if you have a deficiency, there are opportunities to meet basic needs such as markets, markets, etc. in the village. - Access to the island is not troublesome, but it can take some time as the number of ferry trips is insufficient. Of course, if you have the ability to turn such times into opportunities like me, you can sleep in the meadow after parking your car in the ferry boarding queue 😄. - After reaching the island, you have another road that is under construction for half an hour. Some of the asphalt work is finished, the other part is a dirt road. I wish there was no asphalt (going through olive trees on a dirt road seemed more peaceful to me) but when the asphalt is completed, of course the transportation time will be shorter.

First of all, endless gratitude to the apartment owners made us feel like we were at our own home with their interest and sincerity, the apartments were brilliant in terms of hygiene, I was amazed by the garden and we were satisfied with the peace. The lack of air conditioning in the apartments worries me from the beginning, but it is very cool at night and the location of the apartment is wonderful while sitting in the garden, the breeze and peaceful sounds from the top of Jesus are amazing, the balconies, the sea views, you can leave yourself to the miraculous splendor of nature ... Now we have a house here and I left the island by making my reservation next year ... We have the sky, the only thing we have to do is to know its value ... goodbye beautiful people
