A small mosque.nnHistory:nErzurum Boyahane Mosque was built in the center of Erzurum province by Emin Pasha, who served as the governor of Erzurum in 1566 during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, and is a historical mosque with Ottoman architectural features.nThe women's dressing section of the Boyahane bathhouse, built by the Governor of Erzurum, Emin Pasha in 1566, was built in 1621 by İlyas Efendi, after being converted into a mosque.nThe mosque has a square plan and a single dome. The brick dome covering the place of worship carries eight pulleys sitting on the walls. The mosque has a short and rather thick, single-glazed minaret with brickwork motifs. In addition, green glazed bricks can be found among the bricks in the minaret.nThe mosque does not have the last congregation area, and it is entered through a small, single-domed room in the north-east corner.
In the historical city of Erzurum, there is a classical Ottoman style mosque directly opposite the Taşhan and there is a Turkish bath and the bath is still functioning. A beautiful historical mosque to come and see.
