A simple place away from the crowd. Great food from the lovely owner/cook at a reasonable price. She always treated us to tea and baklava at the end of the meals. Specially recommend the local ravioli (manti).

This restuarant has been moved to in front of the city gate and changed name to Teras.

This restaurant is, unfortunately CLOSED. There is another restaurant, Teras cafe, in their old location with a sign outside using the name “Payanark,” and pretending to be them, but they definitely are not, and the Thai food we ordered was absolutely inedible. I’m sure the old restaurant was wonderful, and I don’t want to give them a bad review but avoid the place pretending to be them!

So Delicious! Definitely recommend for those passing by this small town.nI am vegan and it was the one place that knew what that meant and know how they could adapt it to their menu. The couple were both so kind and accommodating and the food was amazing, very authentic!

We have been spending a few days in the Pamukkale area, and were looking in the town for a place to eat. We stumbled across Paynark Thai restaurant, run by a delightful husband and wife team. They showed us the traditional Thai menu, and we decided on Pad Thai and the Green Curry. Both were absolutely delicious, spicy and very authentic. In fact we enjoyed the food so much that we intend to return. The service was so welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit.
