The bloodiest parts of the war took place in this region.nRespect for Mehmetçi Monument and Fevzi Çakmak Monument are located in this region.

When we continue from Kabatepe Main Promotion Center, we will come across the junction, one of which goes to Anzac bay and the other goes to the battlefield. When we go 2 km from the road leading to the battlefield, we will be greeted by the Monument of Respect for Mehmetçi in Albayrak Ridge. The monument is depicted in the form of a Turkish soldier carrying a wounded Australian officer on his lap.
