I cannot think of a better way to experience Capadoccia than setting your base at Taru Cave Suites. Mehmed and his wife ( Owners) are the ultimate hosts. Their hospitality is beyond personable. From the moment we contacted them on the phone they made us feel like we were already their guests. They made our stay magical by treating us like family and helping us get the best from Capadoccia . Mehmed’s advice on sightseeing and tours is to be taken. Thanks to him we were able to go on a balloon as he arranged the tour promptly so we did not miss on this experience ( flight schedules depend strongly on mild changes in weather conditions).nnThe hotel is beautifully appointed inside a Cave with astonishing views of the magical Capadoccia landscape. The terrace restaurant serves breakfast daily ( included) overlooking this same landscape. Breakfast is bountiful and homemade. Rooms are meticulously cared for and clean. We were offered the Hamam room and i strongly recommend this experience. Mehmed also arranged for a massage that I received in my beautiful room by a lovely Balinese lady.nnI could keep writing an essay about our fantastic experience at Taru Cave Suites. But in order to summarize: If you are looking for a superb stay in Capadoccia choose Taru Cave Suites. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from Göreme, however this was not a problem at all. There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance. The host was extremely helpful, generous, and friendly. He and his staff made our stay a pleasant one.

It was our first time in Cappadokia. We were not sure where to go and what to do in this mysterious place in the middle of pandemic. Taru cave hotel was just perfect in all aspect. As we are couple that travel a lot , we learned that there are more than just excellent place to stay. Mehmet “the owner of this family business” was so friendly , dedicated and humble. He as well as all the staff were more than happy to help in all aspects. He helped us to arrange all our trips and visits (hustle free), he made us feel home and welcomed . He with his awesome wife didn’t find a problem to get us a meal prepared in the middle of the night especially for us after our late arrival , getting all we need to the room at anytime, expressing sincere care and advising about what and where to find our needs. Gathering with him and other hotel guests (whom also felt same way of family style place) in front of fire place every night sharing life experience and cultural diversity was amazing. Staying at Taru was exceptional experience and if more than 5 stars are allowed , we would not hesitate to give. If we will be in cappadocia again will not hesitate to stay in Taru cave.
