Hard to get there but totally recommend it, especially as it’s off the touristy roads

This is the hidden Sakli church, not easy to find/get to, but worth it

We are incredibly lucky. The caretaker of the church of St. Nazar kindly gave us the key to the church, which is closed all year round, and showed the route, so we were inside among the frescoed walls and vaults. The condition is very special: the uniqueness of the place and the uniqueness of human kindness, connected together. Even knowing the road, it is not easy to find this church, it is not visible, only a small staircase going from the top of the rock points to the entrance. And when you manage to find her, the impressions are the most enchanting!
