There's a fenced area with a gate to the right of the road .The gate is open and unguarded. No fee to enter. Beyond that, you first find ruins of the theatre. There's also a weathered information board giving some insight about the history of the place. You should climb up to the top of the theatre and there you'll find and follow a path to the other ruins including Athena temple. The best views of the village and surrounding area are from here. Overall, the site is interesting but appears abandoned. As you enter Ildir, to the left of the road is another site with ancient ruins raising above the sea. This site is also fenced but the gate is chained shut and all that you can see from outside are scattered rocks in tall weeds.

Great view from mountain top. Some hiking. Proper pair of shoes recommended. Carry some water for the trip.

Worth making a detour to - not quite as impressive as Ephesus (well, what is?!) but it’s a lovely experience to have the theatre and the temple ruins almost to yourself. Nice view down into Ildir bay from the top of the mount. Also recommend stopping for a beer at the cafe beside the car park - friendly service and good prices.

Interesting place, significant in Antiquity, which is still noticeable. One can visit the agora, theatre and Acropolis, other remains are not open to the public. Part of the city is underwater, you can see it by snorkeling.nThere is a very nice restaurant next to the agora, the modern village is pretty small.
