Unfortunately this animal shelter shares the same fate with other shelters in Turkey. Even though it is better than other shelters I've visited (at least they don't let dogs starve to death) this place isn't enough for any animal to stay and maybe recover. Dogs are held outside and Eskişehir is a very very cold place in winter and a very hot place in summer. Their cages are not hygienic at all and not cleaned often.When I visited I got splashed with dog piss because the dog was in it's puddle of piss. I would advise you to visit though because these places need to be checked frequently.

The dog we feed in the neighborhood gave birth and was taken to a shelter. We went to visit, the animal was traumatized and trembling. How good the animal was when looking at it on the street. I left a wounded cat today, let's see if our lives will return to our street in safety, I hope it will be possible to see satisfaction.
