I heard that the tomb of the Virgin Mary is also near here.nnAnd I heard that the woman's grave on the street was Cleopatra's sister.nnIt was well preserved and it was like a time slip in Roman times.nnEspecially the amphitheater is wonderful.nnWhile walking, the guide said that this is the street where Cleopatra and Caesar walked in love .nnWhen I was sightseeing, a photographer came with me. I bought the photos because they were reasonable price.

Roman amphitheatre is definitely a highlight. Keep going towards the North to find some great roman streets with columns on each side. The site is pretty big so walking takes a pretty long time so budget that out.

On a great sunny Sunday, I drove more than 200 kilometres to see Plutonium. And it was not accessible. It is not understandable why it is closed for visit.

Beautiful place. Make sure to hire a good guide to get a good feel of it. It's probably possible to get a virtual guide on your phone, as exhibits are marked and have barcodes on them, but we not offered one. So check it before you go there if you like a touch of history. We went with Pegas Touristik and didn't get much history, no exhibits were explained, didn't visit Necropolis or Hierapolis Museum.

***** servicen***** pricen** #accessibilityn* drone non flight zonennHierapolis is a part of Pamukkale landmark & from historical viewpoint is a must for visiting. You pay 100 liras for entrance for both Pamukkale pools & Ancient Hierapolis territory. #Accessible path is from the “top entrance”, but from “downhill entrance” only hiking along the pools is will bring you to Hierapolis.nI highly recommend to visit there Amphitheater & Necropolis. Both are very well preserved and transmit an ancient atmosphere.nOne big minus though, that most of accessible ways are not easy to take, cause there are made of wide stone, without extra path or way, unfortunately.nPS Who likes to take pics with drone: it’s forbidden to fly with it over Pamukkale pools, including the city of Hierapolis. The supervisors are approaching you with the warning.
