Really nice site to see and visit, a unique experience.

Totally worth a visit. You get to learn a lot of things, and see how people get to make this marvelous city without great tools or technology. Very good visit.

Unesco world heritage site. If you have claustrafobia you may not feel comfortable

I had only been to Derinkuyu before, which I’d heard was the larger of the two. I did not expect the impressive modern entrance at Kaymakli or extensive ness of Kaymakli’s labyrinthine passages. The lighting was better at Kaymakli too. Definitely worth visiting, even if you’ve been to Derinkuyu.

Really cool underground city - a must see. However, if you have breathing problems like Asthma, have high blood pressure or claustrophobia this place can be dangerous for you.nnYou’d better get a rental car or a tour to get there - Kaymakli is a small town that is not touristic at all except this place.
