Sinop Sarikum beach is definitely a place to be visited with its immense length, clear sea and wonderful sunset.nThe fact that there is no facility in this area is a big disadvantage.nSince it is very suitable for beach camping, a camping facility that includes water and electricity can make it a center of attraction. In addition, the presence of the facility here will also prevent the gunmen who come here and turn them into a baton nest. Despite everything, I recommend it.nNote: An endangered Sand Lily grows in this region. There were even news in the press. Detailed information about the sand lily is as follows;nnPerennial, bulbous, broadly long striped, about 40-45 cm tall, with white flowers, 3-15 flowers, corona, 2/3 of corona tepals. Flowering time is between August and October.nnIt grows in all Mediterranean countries and the southern coasts of the Black Sea. The species is endangered. The expulsion of the lily is a crime in Turkey. The most important threat to the species is the rapidly spreading summer residences in the coastal areas (and also the ignorant people who come to Sarikum and take these plants out of the smell).

It is a place where piles of garbage mixes with the sand, forming bumps, nature is destroyed but never deserves it. A very beautiful long beach, fine sand, my turban deserves more attention and care.

It is much calmer than the beaches close to Sinop. It is a very beautiful and sandy beach. Since it is an open sea, it is wavy in the winds blowing from the sea. For those who want to swim in a calm sea, I recommend them to visit it after checking the weather and wind direction. It was much more virgin and clean in my visit 20 years ago. Unfortunately, it has its share of the pollution created by plastic and similar materials like almost all beaches in our country.
