Greek Orthodox Church of Ayios Dimitrios; It was built in 1798 on Beşiktaş Kuruçeşme Kırbağ Street on the Rumeli side of the Bosphorus. Here is a holy spring, which is believed to cure certain diseases. Along with Ayazma, it was mentioned about the church built during the Byzantine period. But there is no concrete document on this subject.nThe dome collapsed during the construction of the church in Kuruçeşme in 1798 and many workers lost their lives. Sultan III. The roof was rebuilt by Selim's order. The inscription at the entrance of Naos describes these events. It is also told that in 1832 he underwent a repair. The architect of the church is Saniotis. To the north of the church is the Ayios Dimitrios spring. Behind it there is a circular bell tower with a domed square section. The church, which was built with coarse crushed stone material, is on the east and west axis. The church has a basilica plan and the roof has two slopes.nThe apse has a rectangular plan from the outside and its roof is conically covered. The inside of the apse is half-domed. The exterior of the church is very plain. The naves are separated by five columns. The column headers are Ionic style and the columns are connected to each other by a system of arches. The women's section is above the narthex and has baroque motifs.

The first church in history is Saint-Pierre Church in Antakya. There are many churches in our country. Both the spiritual and the historical meaning are the structures that will fascinate you with the hand-workmanship that must be seen.
