Small park area near Besiktas ferry station, nothing special to do here.

We fluked this visit on 14th Jan as we were heading to other parts of the city! There was a Farmers Market - produce from Eastern Turkey - stalls/tents with fresh, pickled, dry and huge variety of food on offer to eat on the spot or take away and enjoy. Fabulous - just wish things like this were better advertised.

Lively upbeat and under the watchful eye of Barbarossa whose name still instills fear and respect. The cannons on display such a sight which command respect. All one needs is a bit of imagination to hear these mighty cannons thundering, sinking ships and laying cities and castles to waste.
