Yalova was conquered in 1325 by Orhangazi forces from Byzantium. Together with the conquest, Turkish migrations took place in our region. These migrations were mostly infiltrated.nThe first migration to Çınarcık took place during this period and the name Çınarcık was given by the first settlers in the region.nIn this period, the Byzantines attacked the Turks who settled in the region in order to take back the region from the Turks. In the attack on Çınarcık, there was a bloody clash between the Turks and the Byzantines, and Hasan Baba, who showed heroism in this battle, was taken to the area where the picnic area with his friends was present. According to the rumor, Hasan Baba leaned against his sword, and from where the sword went down, a water source called Hasan Baba water emerged.nAfter resting for a while at the beginning of the water spring, Hasan Baba and his friends were attacked by the Byzantines. Although Hasan Baba was wounded, he fought with the Byzantines together with his friends and retreated towards the mountains.nThe martyrs in our time showed a very strong resistance against the Byzantines in the hill area, mainly the Byzantine people who were far from their forces in the pier square found the resort to retreat. Hasan Baba was seriously injured and his friends could not leave him. They could not carry themselves to the foothills of the mountain because of their large size. Here, along with Hasan Baba, three heroes whose names were forgotten over time were martyred here. Hasan Baba's friends buried his martyr friends on this hill.nAlthough hundreds of years have passed, the name of Hasan Baba has not been forgotten by the people of the region, especially in the days of hıdır ellez people visited Hasan Baba's grave.nFor centuries, the oak trees between the water source and the grave of Hasan Baba have been protected by the public in order to respect Hasan Baba's memory.nHasan Baba has lived in the memory of Çınarcık people for hundreds of years as a hero martyr. As a value of Çınarcık, it will be remembered with mercy after our time.
