Ulubatlı hasan Primary School is one of the 10 schools built with the same type and plan by Atatürk's order as the 10th anniversary gift of the Republic. 5 of these schools are within the boundaries of Fatih District (1- 29 Mayıs Primary School 2- Hekimoğlu Ali Paşa Primary School 3- Katip Çelebi Primary School and Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School) and the other 5 schools are located in different districts of Istanbul. 5 of these schools have the status of 2nd Degree historical monuments; our school Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School is in the status of 2nd Degree Historical Monument. The location of the school was located in the neighborhood of Mollaaşkı with its former name and changed to Ayvansaray Neighborhood after the neighborhood was merged. The school is dominated by the Golden Horn. A large part of the Golden Horn, Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia Museum, New Mosque, Galata Tower, Kasimpasa Naval Hospital, Shipyards, Galata and Unkapani bridges, Sarayburnu, Eminonu square and Kadikoy ridges. It was first opened in 1932-1933 academic year. At that time, the schools in Istanbul were named numerically according to their entry into service; The first name of our school is “55. Primary school ”. In 1948-1949 academic year, it changed its name to “Eğri Kapı Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School II”, in 1954 to “Eğri Kapı Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School I” and in 1958 to “Ulubatlı Hasan İlkokulu isim. It was named as ubat Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School kapsamında within the scope of 8 years of continuous education with the approval of Istanbul Governorship dated 19.06.1997 and numbered 305. After the opening of new schools to the environment and the removal of the estuary shipyards, the number of students decreased from 600 to 600-700 and the number of teachers decreased to the range of 15-20, while the number of teachers decreased to the range of 15-20. . 9158 people graduated from Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School until June 2013. Among its graduates are Prof. Haluk Yavuzer, dean of the Department of Psychology at Istanbul Commerce University in 2013, Ata Özer, Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education, and Sağbek Kahraman Kartaloğlu from Beşiktaş.
