I brought a street cat in who clearly had a broken hip and an ear infection. The cat was treated by a young and arrogant vet who after a thirty second examination said she had FIP, wouldn't recover and should be euthanized. I told him that this seemed hasty - how could he diagnose her so quickly and suggest euthanizing her. He was very annoyed when I said I would take her to my private vet for his opinion, and put the cat back in a carrier filled with diarrhea. I took the poor cat to my vet, he said she had two broken bones and an ear infection, all could be treated -NO SIGN OF FIP. I am shocked at the conduct of this vet at IBB Hayvan Hastanesi. Clearly he couldn't be bothered to treat this cat (streetcars are treated for free) so thought it would be easiest to get rid of the foreigner by telling her the cat was a lost cause. Shameful.

The veterinary doctors Miss Gulay and Mrs Volkan were both so helpful during both my cat's examination and the operation afterwards. My female cat had some part of her ovaries left in the abdomen (after she had been spayed somewhere else), which then became a big cyst. The appointment for the operation was scheduled for the next day after the first examination and I didn't get charged for the examination at all. Glad I gave this hospital a shot. Such a friendly and animal lover staff they have! Highly recommended.
