Travertines of Pamukkale (thermal pools)

Very, very pretty. We went in the winter so it was very cold. My feet were frozen by the end of the walk BUT it was worth-it. The views were very nice. The thermal water did not fill the pools due to being winter but we were able to soak our feet in the stream of thermal water. Overall I liked it and would recommend.

Because of Covid almost all travertines are closed, beautiful place with tragic history

Magical experience walking from the town entrance up the travertines. Tons of amazing photo opportunities along the way. Pay attention to the tour buses and do your best to avoid the crowd, although most of the tours are only at the top 50 meters of the uphill walk.

Beautiful to visit and stay there one day! I do not recommend to buy the ticket for the museum because is very small... The pools and the theatre are really good

If you are expecting to sit in a pool and look at the beautiful scenery you will be as disappointed as I was. There is now only one pool with decent temperature and it is crowded and with no view. Years ago perhaps it was possible to sit in warm water enjoying the view but not anymore.
