aziantep The construction date of the church in Şıhlar District of Nizip district is unknown. No information is found in the scientific sources and there is no inscription. XI.-XII. It is believed to have been built in the Byzantine period in the 16th century. The apse of the church, which is made of rubble stone, has a rectangular plan and has a half-rounded protrusion. The decorations and depictions of Aziz could not survive. The church was used as an inn for a while after it lost its function. The church is known to be a mosque in the 1800's.
