The cave itself is astounding, absolutely worth visiting. It would however be much better without the intrusive looping soundtrack that fills the cave whenever it's open to visitors. I hope management will consider reducing the noise pollution in the cave and letting its beauty speak for itself. Beautiful views of the mountains driving down.

Amazing, the cave was known to the people living in that region, it became open to tourism as a result of the scientific research conducted by Sukru Eroz, a geological engineer from Cebeli Village, between the years 1983-1990.[1] Prof. Dr. Remzi Dilek and his team from the Department of Geological Engineering at the (Karadeniz Technical University) contributed a lot of research and scientific studies of the cave. As a result of these studies, it was opened to tourism in 1996 after the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was informed and the cave was officially registered.

A very picturesque and quite big cave, not mentioning the beautiful scenery along the way.

The cave itself is not very big, but beautiful and relaxing. Good for a quick visit! It's only 10 Lira and a 10-15 min carride from the highway. There are souvenir shops in front of the cave that sell cavestones, cavestone necklaces etc.
