Great place to go to have a great view of goreme as well as the view of sunset. We walk up there since our hotel was just close by. It is good hike up from the ticket booth to the view point.

Good place to watch sun set and take pictures. You have to pay a small entrance fee to get up there. You can see the town and the rose mountains.

We walked up to the viewpoint just before sunset on Christmas. Maybe it was due to the holiday but we didn’t spot any balloons despite the gorgeous weather.

The started to charge people for 3 liras for NOTHING. I visited this place previous year and there was no charging. The guy doesn’t speak English, he can’t explain for what I am paying. Moreover there many cafes and hotels nearby, so do all of the visitors also need to pay. Guys, you a making money from the air. Shame on you.

It's a very good point to enjoy the sunset,the baloons in the morning also the town's view.
