Zelve Open Air Museum

Amazing, unique, the skills and dedication the people had to create these churches and dwellings is really impressive.

The Zelve Open-Air Museum is an incredible site that once housed one of the largest communities in Cappadocia. In this incredible cave town, you can walk amongst historic dwellings, churches, and religious chambers as well as the town square

It is, as name says, in outside. Not like typical art museum but you see all the cave which was actually used long time. You will find yourself walking a lot in sandy place, so comfortable walking shoes are must when you go there.nnIn the outside of museum, there were camels, which let you ride & take a pictures for fee.

Excellent place, not to skip! Not many visitors which was perfect! Many caves in a valley, this place is like a gem!

Quiet, not a lot of people and full of caves. By the end of this, you'll be all caved out. It's about a 45 minute walk (while looking at stuff and taking pictures) to the end of the valley. Then a quick 20 minutes to walk back.
