As a expat resident here in Fethiye i must say the service at this Hospital is second to none, yesterday I received blood tests, Xray and results and diagnosis all within 4 hours all at a fantastic financial cost. As a foreigner I used the free translators service which also was fantastic, in the past I have used my private health insurance at private hospitals and i must say that the treatment i recieved yesterday was on a par and a lot cheaper, well done Fethiye State Hospital, you are a credit.

Was scratched by one of the cats at the resort. Due to the risk of infection we contacted the hospital via email and received a quick response. Went in the next day paid 200 lira or approx 30 GBP at the time of writing to see the doctor.nThey suggested rabies vaccinations and tetanus just to be safe, all vaccines were given for free after the first payment despite having to have them 3 days apart.nnWhole process was very quick interpreter was extremely friendly surprised as this was a whole lot quicker than the average 3 hrs wait at the emergency room back home.

Good modern state hospital open to all but non nationals pay fees based on treatment .nRuns a full accident and emergency centre. Has resident interpretation staff. It is usually very busy so non urgent treatment will require an appointment probably offered the next day or so.nFees are reasonable by UK standards and less than private hospitals

We were here after an accident. We were treated fast and well although it was very crowded. They have a Tourist Office with interpretator, I highly recommend this hospital.
