Mandarin + Blue Beach = heaven in earth.

Nice property.nnMinus 1 star for the rather steep pricing on alcohol, especially local wine. A glas of Red is served at 28 degrees, which makes you think of mulled wine at Christmas markets. Best to order a bottle 30 minutes before and have it cooled and ready by arrival.nnMinus 1 star for slow service.nnOther than that an exceptional property. Only hotel in Bodrum, where I would consider staying.

Very disappointing quality for this level of pricing.nn- No towels in the toilets on the beachnn- I cut my foot with the broken glass in my bathroom (!) when arrived. The room was not cleaned properly after the previous guests. The management didn’t even apologized.nn- The food is very average for ridiculous prices. The staff confused orders, we had to wait over 40minutes for the food to arrive. Cocktails are over 20€. Salads start with 30€. One night they said they don’t have any Turkish wine - only European with prices starting from 150€ for simple bottle of Gavi... which is not more than 30-40€ in top London restaurants.nn- Breakfast was a mess with confused orders. Sometimes our toasts never arrived even when we asked 3-4 times.nn- We couldn’t relax because of the screaming children not only by the pool, but even in the bar after 9pm. When I asked the stuff to manage the situation at 9pm in the bar and talk to parents - they said there’s nothing they can do...nn- Oh, and they charge 3€ per day for the WiFi ;) I am still intrigued why they didn’t include it in the cost of the room...nn- Yet the territory is very nice. Reception lady and concierge were lovey and friendly.nnThe service and attention to small details are definitely not up to other Mandarin hotels which is a shame.

I want to share my experience of staying at this hotel, we came to this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, due to restrictions, we chose Turkey and the mandarin oriental hotel took a villa with three bedrooms, the villa itself is good, the pool is not very large and the pool is not heated with cold water and then we were told in 20 minutes your butler will arrive and tell everything about the hotels, an hour later he never arrived until we called, she understands very little in English and everything we asked her for 4 days, she did nothing at all and when she just forgot to order a transfer to the restaurant, we asked to change it and on the first day we asked to change the iron for us, then another day later, and in this case it was not changed for us. For breakfast, the waiters cannot remember the order and bring everything for a very long time, although the hotel is not full far away, the service here certainly suffers! In Turkey for the third time and a month ago we were in maxx royal kemer, the service in that hotels is just super, but in this it seems that you still owe them something for your money! we took a buggy for ourselves for extra money, and then downloaded it was broken, then changed it to another one and there the tire flattened, so we waited a day until they fixed it, only two restaurants worked in hotels and did not even tell us that they were closed other restaurants. In short, the Mandarin hotel is beautiful but the service is just awful! the second time there is definitely no desire to come to this hotel
