The project of the Ministry of Justice building, called the Ministry of Justice, was prepared by the Reconstruction and Construction Department project office. The building, which was designed in 1936-1939 and built by architect contractor Bedri Tümay, is located in the State Quarter, and consists of three-storey masses arranged in H-shape on the ground. In the general plan of the State Quarter, arranged by Master Architect Holzmeister according to Jansen plan, the area where this building will sit was determined in advance. The spaces are placed on long corridors as in other Ministry buildings; There is a ceremonial hall on the ground floor. Opposite the entrance is the main staircase leading to the ceremonial hall. Upon reaching the first floor, one can enter the Minister's room and the outbuilding around it from the honor hall. There are two corridors leading from the main entrance to the right and left sides of the building. The general appearance, mass, plan and facade arrangement of the building have been adapted to the shape of other Ministry buildings. Although the building is similar to the Holzmeister design, there are no recesses and protrusions used by Holzmeister on the facades. An attempt is made to give a monumental expression to the building, with the portico extending to the height of all floors on the north facade facing the park from the side facades. This facade of the building is considered richly as it constitutes the beginning of the State Quarter. On the contrary, the western façade gives a secondary façade effect as the colonnaded order consisting of ten columns contains only one floor and is very flat. However, on this façade facing the main street with the main entrance and where the longitudinal axis passes, the central motif should have been a monumental expression. The structure, which has a reinforced concrete skeleton, is covered with Ankara stone on the outside.

Midyat courthouse is one of the cleanest courthouses in the region, and the staff is very interested in and helping the citizen.
