Atmospheric hotel in a restored medrassa located in the heart of Mardin's old town. Easy walk to main street shops & restaurants. Chill, creative vibe. Warm, welcoming hosts.

Had a great two night stay at Sahmeran! The owner Toprak was super generous and accommodating. He's a creative spirit who brings a lot of energy into the space. He made me wonderful organic breakfasts with local produce, and treated me to delicious dinners. Despite the language barrier, he and his friends were wonderful company and made me feel very welcome and content. The guesthouse is the perfect place to relax and unwind afyer explorong the Mardin old town. Would definitely stay again!

Never go there. It's the worst hostel that i've ever had for my life.nnI was sexually harassed by the staff. He kept bothering me and he asked me to kiss him repeatedly. I was alone in the guest house, and I felt scared and threatened by his attitude. I was forced to find another place to stay the next day.
