We stayed here for one night. The ambiance, the history, the rooms are great. I wish I could say the same for the breakfast. It could be better to help alleviate the place as a respect to the history. Anyways still a great hotel to stay.

Great and wonderful. Truly this city of great wonderful civilizations, in every sense represent the birthplace of modern civilization. Artuk kervansaray was sort of a place of residence for travellers and merchant who threaded those path, especially the silk road trade route. It is a city born upon another city. It is a must-see.

Don't believe the google navigation, it's not right. :) And the hotel stuff is not so helpful to solve this problem...nThe hotel is near to Matador Ekmek Fabrikasi, (a great place to buy fresh bread and local pastry).nSavurkapı Mahallesi, Cumhuriyet Cd. No:60, 47100 Mardin Merkez/MardinnSo if you don't want to get lost, write this place to your navigationnnAnyway, the hotel is quite OK for low budget tourists. Don't expect too much from the rooms but the local, folkloric design in the historic building is eye catching, breakfast is great and the view from the roof is magnificent.
