International Airport, all facilities available like shopping, foods and restaurants including all International food stores

Sabiha Gokcek is old airport of Istanbul Anadolu side not so preferred place to flying

You need to be in the airport more than 2 hours before departure, the first security check start outside the building. Than inside check in, passport control and security check after passport control.nThere is a lot of people and time is lost very fast. The airport in good a.d there is all what you need to buy in a hurry.nLounge and food court.nnI like this airport

Even though this is the ‘cheaper’ and older airport in Istanbul, it is still a great airport.nnIt looks very modern, it is pretty big and has all the accommodations you need in the airport.nnPassport control is quick and smooth. At the belt to collect the luggage there is even a duty free, where you can shop a bit while you wait for your luggage to arrive.

Nice airport and I prefer to use it over the new airport near Bulgaria, but signs and movement control are poor. All but one exit is blocked, and it's not clearly marked. If you see five exits signs that lead to blocked exits, do you believe the next exit sign? And if you want people to remove laptops from bags going into the terminal (not talking about for after check-in), put the signs where people form up, not in small print above the Xray machine. No point in having a sign then.nnIt's important for employees to know standards vary across international airports and it's better to assume SAW does things differently... but then a basic understanding of an international language would also help, but... wishful thinking.
