It is nice to be in touch with nature and free of charge, there are fountain and toilet facilities, barbecue facilities, tables, but it can be difficult to find a place in busy times

This region is one of the most beautiful places to go as a family. We went 3 times as a family. It is open until 23:00 at night. Picnic tables, green grass area, Sapanca lake view, barbecue and samovar etc. can be made. The forest is 1km from the zoo. There is free parking for the car at the entrance. It gets busy on the weekend. Perfect on weekdays. There is a buffet for charcoal, coke, etc. It is 100-115 km away from Istanbul. I would recommend it for 1 hour rather than looking for a place in Istanbul.

There is a mosque, wc, mini buffet and playgrounds for children in a recreation area with a beautiful lake and nature view.

Clean, wide lakeside green area. Unfortunately, the area is now struggling to meet the needs because it has become known to many people and it is getting crowded inevitably. However, barbecue was banned due to the pandemic, I do not know if it will continue, but it should definitely. Everywhere was drowned in smoke. It's a nice place to take your tea and unwind. It closes at 23:30, it is not possible to camp or sit until night anymore. However, the mosques are very clean and the toilets are deplorable. This area, which is seen as a small getaway place with its proximity to the city center, is gradually giving its place to other places. Swimming in the lake is also prohibited, according to the warning signs, but not many people listen in summer. The water level should be around 3 meters around the pier, so it is not suitable for those who do not know how to swim well. If seeing the lake is not indispensable for you, the Ormanya right next to it is much more beautiful and well-groomed. Note: Barbecue is now allowed.
