Hotel ibis Eskisehir

The hotel is not good but the staff are very friendlynIt was smelly

Travelling with a cat, Ibis was one the few choices we had to stay in Eskisehir. We checked the dates and prices online and then called to make the reservation. They told us they have special rooms for people with pets which cost a bit more; 50 TL a day and we agreed.nThey gave us room 217 at the end of the corridor on second floor with a garden view. The room was big enough with essential furniture and no train noise. Fairly clean, the building is a bit old therefore you may notice relevant problems like smelly drains or dingy sinks or spotted floors. Another problem was the shower. We saw shower cabins in other rooms while they were being cleaned, ours had a lousy curtain separating the shower and the toilet, so whenever took a shower the bathroom floor got flooded. It was disgusting. The flooring color in our room was also different. I guess maybe this room was not renovated and was left for people travelling with little hairy friends.nDespite this “special” room issue, everything else was satisfactory. The staff were helpful and kind, the location is superb and the view was nice both for us and the cat. The surrounding streets are always crowded full of various restaurants, shops and parks. We didn’t even try the breakfast at hotel because lots of nice cafes were available nearby. You can just walk anywhere easily and the river is only 6-7 minutes away.

The rooms kind of small for 2 persons maybe they have a big rooms.nYou have arount the hotel, mall , some cafes some of fast food and restaurants.

I gave 5 starts 6 years ago to this hotel. My rating didn't change today. Ibis is THE hotel when visiting Eskişehir.

Ibis Eskisehir is at the city center very close to restaurants and bars. It has a open car parking place protected by private security. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable.
