Oshki - St. The most important Georgian monastic center of the house of St. John the Baptist in the 50s and 60s of the 10th century in the historical Tao, on the left high bank of Tortumistskali, in the village of Chemliamach, in the present-day Turkish province of Erzerum. The first of the four large cathedrals (see Svetitskhoveli, Bagrati Temple, Alaverdi). The church is united in a monastic complex, with a surviving seminary-refectory and small churches.

The throat height of the dome is 6.4 meters, and the radius including the walls is 5.66 meters. The dome is 6.86 meters high in the form of a helmet and is decorated with red and yellow tiles. There are black cross figures on the lower part of the dome. There are various animal and human figures on the supporting pillars.
