Antalya Airport

Its a decent size airport with all needed facilities available. Fast in and out usually. Winter time they close terminal 2 and operate from one international terminal. Summer time there are two terminals. So make sure to check which one you fly from during summer.

Horrible experience with this airport.nI have dual citizenship but they denied me boarding to my home country because I had only the passport of my other country on me. I told them that if they took my passport to border control they would be able to confirm that. The manager for my specific airline said exactly “I will not help you” and walked away from me as I was crying in the airport, while at the same time was just standing there on his phone. I had no idea what to do being in a foreign country and not knowing a word of Turkish. It only took a travel agent from another company to help me. I had to personally call the border control of the other country and to have them send me an email stating that I was allowed to board the plane and cross to my home country, then they finally let me go. Even though I know every airport has the access to see it as my two passports are connected.nService is horrible and the most of the people working at this airport are horrible human beings with zero compassion.nI will no longer be going back to turkey as this is only one of a few bad experiences I’ve had with the people living there. Save yourself the heartache and find somewhere else to vacation in. These people look down on everyone who are from North parts of Europe as well as America.

I can’t describe it any better then DISASTER!nnTerrible place and super unhelpful personal.nnTurkish in general are pretty ignorant but airport staff are top ignorant.nnFor example during COVID - you can’t use electronic tickets to the better airport. Just an example: you flight @ 2AM, you are living Atlanta (because it is far) at 12 (check out), collected by transfer/taxi and at 4-5PM you are in the airport. You have to wait outside of the airport for 6-7 hours to enter airport!nnHow cool it this?nnNever mind when you ask staff to direct you to your carrier or somewhere else - people simply ignore. We don’t speak English, German, Russian ... It is disaster.nnTurkey worst place for travel or holidays. Very, very, very bad experience

Nice airport. Very big. The immigration are doing great job with speed at which they process documents. I don't know whether it is always busy through the year. But when I was there in August, it was overcrowded, we have to queue for around 15min just to use lavatory.

The airport services as much as i experienced were good and personnel tried to help but the number of restaurants is limited and with unreasonably high prices. There are no supermarkets nearby and the airport cafes get closed in the evening
