It is possible to find some quiet shores even on weekends, but you may have to go around the lake for some time. It can get pretty windy, and the view of the lake is not always as you see in the photos. There may be some sponge-like tiny things in the water probably depending on the weather. You may also run into garbage and leftovers here and there, especially at the camping areas.
