It looks like a nice place in the photos, but there is no passenger car because it is broken.

Armenian Monastery built in 600 AD. The second largest monastery in Muş is the Surp Garabet Armenian Masnastir in the village of Yukarı Yongalı (Çengilli). Both of them were the biggest educational institutions of Muş at that time. The Holy Apostles Monastery is about to disappear. In fact, when both are restored, they can make a huge contribution to our tourism.

Exit is very difficult if you have no off-road vehicle.nYou have to climb after a point.nIf you meet with shepherds, they have very nice conversations.

It is built on the summit, now used as a plateau, in the east direction of the Karaçavuş Mountains. Arak (Kepenek) Village, which gave its name to the monastery, is at the foot of the summit. Arak: It means wine in Persian. It is known that the village used to be a storehouse of grapes and a place where grape must is produced. There is a large Bell Tower 200-250 meters away. Roman style stands out in the workmanship and materials of the monastery.
