Another ancient city we spent. A Carian city where Rome gave the authority to mint money. There was pegasos on its money. Its horses were very famous. The ancient city was plundered by the peasants like the others. The peasants lived in the ancient city. Autonomous and a kind of capital of all the ancient cities of the region such as Milet-Ephesus-Priene-Alinda. And we have left this important Roman city to the peasants for a thousand years. The turns of the theater are millimetric. The walls of the theater are relief and craftsmanship. It is a pity for you.

It is an ancient city located near Aydın's Çine district, unfortunately, neglected and unprotected. So much so that you can see that the stones in the ancient city were taken from their places and used on the garden walls of the village intertwined with the city. The surrounding of the city is not limited and there is no entrance gate. The identification plates are very old. In the city, there is a large and beautiful theater building with its back on the hill that seems unfinished in time. It was about 6,200 people. There are the ruins of the Temple of Apollo on the left as you enter the city. You can see the small remnants of the bathhouse on the right. If you want to smell the history, I recommend you go especially towards sunset.

I think I couldn't find the location in the wrong place. Maybe I passed by, there are not enough signs.

Its history goes back to 5000 years ago. I think it should be visited and seen.

It is located in a small village and even integrated with the village, no officials are preserved, its theater has remained intact, and the rest of the buildings are shattered, you should see it if your path falls, it needs to be protected.
