The school was opened to service with 25 students within the body of Nahit Menteşe Primary School in the 2000-2001 academic year under the name of Aydın Anadolu Fine Arts High School. It moved to its own building during the academic year of 2002-2003. Due to its contributions in opening the school, the name of the school was changed to Yüksel Yalova Anatolian Fine Arts High School by giving the name of the Minister of the Day, Mr. Yüksel YALOVA.nnWith the regulation issued in 2009, the name of the school has changed as YÜKSEL YALOVA FINE ARTS and SPORTS HIGH SCHOOL.nnIn the 2013-2014 academic year, it was named Yüksel Yalova Fine Arts High School.
