You can visit this first before going to the Ankara Kalesi (castle). This is a nice place to see because of the old houses during the past. They have also maintained most of the facade so they look beautiful. Many stores, cafes and restaurants are located here. Try to buy souvenirs from this area.

Hamamönü is an old village that you can feel when you look at how it's houses are designed. This place has a very good restaurants and it is quit place. Also you can get here special hamams(baths).

Lovely little place to spend some time wandering around. Great cafes.

Very nice and cozy area. With many nice restaurants and cafés. A bit expensive though compared to other very close by areas. However, I would go again to enjoy the beautiful scenery while having a jog or walk. Also, there are a few historic and old mosques.
