Worst experience ever. Will never rent with Sixt.nBeen using sixt for a while in different countries and did it twice in Turkey and heavily regret that now. I paid for full insurance and did no damages to a car. Returned in in couple of days. They checked everything in front of me. Made me sign a paper. Few days after sent me a 200euro bill. All damages are some real tiny scratches (car was old) that were not documented. They only document major dents/bumps/scratches. Not the tiny ones. Ones you return the car they will put those tiny ones on your name and make you pay for it. This is a SCAM by definition.nAnd good luck disproving something when you already out of country as a tourist. They dont even speak English. You cant even have normal human discussion with them.nRented with them in Izmir, same story but 500euro bill.nAbsolutely horrible way of treating tourist.nSTAY AWAY AT ALL COST

Certainly the worst car rental experience !nnThanks to Mr Müşteri Hizmetleri and his employee, I just have to pay more than 1200€ for a rent that should have normally be 200€.nTo envoyed you the same nightmare, first I will advise you to « not rent with this company! » And secondly to pay more if you have to but « not rent with this company ! »nnTo explain you rapidly this comment, here is the situation. In June, we rent a car a the Ankara Airport Sixt office for one week. On the last day of the rent, I hit a sidewalk during a park attent. Nothing serious but I have to report it to let the insurance take care of if. So just after, the incident, I call the Anakra Office to know what to do in this case. They said, to just comme back to the drop in office and explain the situation.nWhen I done it the next day, the employe told me with sign (because he didn’t speak English) that it was ok and the insurance will do the reste.nnBut few days later, with out to be notified, I just get 2 withdraws on my bank account of 600€ for a total of more 1200€. No one told me what is was about and what the amount corresponding of !nWhen I finally reach the Airport office, they told me that it was for the payement of the repair.nI respond that : first, it should have been nice to let me know before to execute the withdraw (because I don’t have this money on my account so I now have to pay interest), the secondly to explain me what those amount corresponding and third, I toke the insurance so maybe we should see that first !!nnThey just respond me that they have to charge the full amount of the accident repair because I don’t have made a police report of the accident. Mr Müşteri Hizmetleri (that should certainly be a robot because he show no compassion and like to respond you like you are also a machine) didn’t want to understand that it was not an accident with some one else but a damage occurs by myself on a sidewalk. That I call the office to know if I have to do something after the damage, I ask again to when a drop in the car and no one told me about the office report needed. And sorry, if I don’t immediately believe that I should go the see the Turkish police to explain that I hit a side walk during my parking !nnAll those situation to explain that I had a small incident, I wanted to do all I can to the thing right in order to repair it. But all the company agree to to do it to take my money. I just have the felling that play me because they want to deal with the insurance. And they have no compassion at all.nnAnd one more thing, don’t try to get information to your local sit office (French office with Pauline Grasser) because they will not help you at all. Good to said that Sixt is a international company but not then you need this International help.nnI hope that it will help you to do the right choice for your next rent !

I would like to thank your team very much. I made an online booking. When I landed in Ankara everything went smoothly. The whole team was very polite and helpful. I also had no problems with the car.

The advice is not good, just a lot of money, 3 and a half days. I did 400km. 880tl + 260tl gasolinenFor an expensive 8/10 year vehicle in my opinion.
