While providing service with 97 beds at the address behind the courthouse, the national textile hospital was rented on 17.09.1955 and the bed capacity was increased to 150, renaming the workers' insurance hospital. With the law number 506, which entered into force on 01.03.1965, its name was changed to social insurance institution hospital. The hospital, which is currently in service, was put into service on 11.06.1973 with a total of 9 floors, the main service building, 6 additional service buildings in the garden and a nursing lodge, 556 licensed beds built on 57.490 m2 land. As the social insurance institution Adana regional hospital for the people of the Eastern Mediterranean and South Eastern Anatolia region; While serving, it was transferred to the Ministry of Health as of 19.02.2005 and named Çukurova State Hospital in accordance with Law No. 5283. My love is named Tüfekçi State Hospital. The official number of beds is 720. In 2016, the Military Hospital was connected to our hospital as the Dam Road additional service building. In 2018, Marsa Maternity and Meydan Children's Hospital was included in our body and continues to serve under the name of Seyhan State Hospital with 575 beds.
