Eğri Minaret draws attention with its resemblance to the world famous Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. Located on Nevşehir Street in Aksaray city center, Eğri Minaret is one of the most important historical artifacts from the Seljuk Period. While the minaret is called Eğri Minaret by the public due to its curvature, it is also known as Red Minaret due to its red bricks.
