Raman Mountain is where the extracted oil for the first time in 1948 in Turkey. It is located near the village of Fuelli in the district of Besiri in Batman. The well was then served by President Ismet Inonu. On one side of the well is the Beşiri Plain, where the villages of the Alikan, Raman tribes are located. On the back side is the Tigris River and the historic Hasankeyf district. The region has a very beautiful view with this aspect. In addition, there is a small forest in the region consisting of scrub areas.
