Unfortunately this historic site looks very neglected and not valued at all .. unless foreigners take interest locals. The same seems true for for the poor work horses.

Unfortunatly, there is not much information obtainable. The castle is surrounded by an ecomically deprived population (gypsies? Refugees?) and the city has not yet much chance to develope the area (?)

If you come to Tekirdağ and do not stop at Çorlu, take a stroll around the center and eat the lamb liver wrapped with yoghurt. Do not expect anything from the castle. There are cities with beautiful castles, keep your appetite there
