The church is closed, I did not find any information on how to get into it.nnHistorical reference:nSt. Nicholas Church in Istanbul is a unique historical attraction. Presumably, it was built on the slope of the sixth hill of Constantinople during the era of the reign of Paleologists (in the XIV-XV centuries).nThis is the only late Byzantine temple in the form of an early Christian basilica. The first mention of the church dates back to 1475, when the Turks handed it over to the Genoese and Armenians resettled from Kafa. In 1630, Sultan Murad IV converted it into the Kefeli Mosque, after attaching a minaret to the building.nThe construction is a small hall 22 meters long and 7 meters wide. Particularly noteworthy is its north side, containing an arch, a semicircular apse with two niches and asymmetrically located windows.
