Our Experience at Acibadem Taksim hospital was amazing… and we lack proper words to really fully express our gratitude and appreciation of the outstanding care and services we received, both on Medical level and Personal level. Being in Turkey, a foreign country for us, with my husband having a medical emergency… we could not of ask for a better hospital , Doctors, Nurses, Patient relations and staff to help us with our situation. Every step they took, every procedure performed, was of upper most professional and medical expertise, and was done with same level of caring as if we were family. So a Hospital with not only the top most professional medical team, but also a hospital with a heart. If 10 stars would of been an option on Google, this is exactly what would be our rating.

I had Plastic surgery in this hospital. I got a bad infection and pore quality implants where placed in my body while I was under anesthesia. The recovery is still happening and I’m lucky to have lived though it. The posh five star looking hospital has no English speaking nurses. My surgery was finished after midnight and my most thoughtful doctor had not prescribed me with a pain killer or sleeping medicine and wouldn’t answer the phone. The hospital didn’t have a doctor present till 8am. I was in a puddle of sweat crying for hours till a non English speaking doctor came and gave me a pain killer. Even though I was unable to open my mouth or to chew I was brought solid food for breakfast and lunch. I mean what kind of a hospital doesn’t have mashed food or soup? Soup and fruit juice was supplied form outside. They should be ashamed of their services and what they allow to happen in their surgery rooms.

I got terrible treatment at dentisty.nDuring my stay in turkey, I needed root canal treatment and new crown. The same day set the crown, feel so painful.nback to my country, I figured out that root canal treatment was not done properly..... I remember that she didn’t take x-ray before set the crown! In the end, lost this teeth... DON’T WAIST MONEY AND TIME here!

This is a very nice, clean, and newer hospital. They have an International patient check in desk where they spoke English and was very helpful and friendly. I had an ear infection and the doctor was available to see me straight away. The doctor spoke perfect English and his office was very high-tech with a camera scope that displayed for me on a big television. The cost for the exam, followup exam two days later, and medicine was USD $110. Amazing!nnOverall it was a great experience, I highly recommend using this hospital, especially as an international visitor.

In November I went to Acibadem Hospital in Taksim with a sore throat. The doctor recommended a Covid test and a chest scan. The doctor left and the secretary came and told me it would cost 5,000 TL. It was late and I was scared, so I trusted the doctor's judgment and agreed. It turned out I was positive for Covid, but looking back, there was no reason to give me a chest scan (the Covid test cost 800 TL and the X-ray cost 4,200). I know that they are private hospital, but they clearly saw a chance to make money off of a foreigner, just like a vendor in the Grand Bazaar. Foreigners beware.
