My experience at Liv was great. The hospital was clean, welcoming and well organised. I would however like to pay particular complements to the translation service I received. Turning up at a hospital not speaking any Turkish can be quite daunting. However Hakan (who helped me as soon as I entered the building), could not have been more helpful. He really made the whole experience really easy and made me feel completely relaxed! A really excellent service.
The first time was very good the translators were very good Mohammed Osturk who took care of me arranged our appointments translated what the doctor told us very well, my son regained his health, you stay healthy for a lifetime.
I had high expectations and lost my health. Please be careful, because Liv Hospital for me was a nightmare wrapped in a beautiful packaging. My life has become a nightmare after a common breast surgery for 2 breast benign nodules. Who is to blame? Liv Hospital and Dr. Levhi Akin. Here is Why?n1. The breast was so botched and cut in so many places that the breast tissue necrosis and formed deep scars that did not heal at all. The surgery was unprofessional. After surgery, at the first mammography, i understood how badly the breast was chopped, instead of making a simple cut.n2.after this supposedly simple surgery( i paid 8500 euro for it) the doctor put me a broken drain. Since the first day, it did not work, my breast it became swollen and we had to stay in Turkey for 2 more weeks just to make sure everything will be alright. IT WAS NOT ALRIGHT…AT ALL. They did nothing to fix this, so my breast stayed swollen for 2 whole years. When, finally, the liquid inside was absorbed, it was started necrosis, scar tissue, pain, itching ... torment and torture ...n3. There was no collaboration between my 2 doctors. I entered in the surgery room with Dr.Levhi, for my benign case and with the plastician doctor just in case my nodule was actually cancer and it had to be done a mastectomy. There was no communication between the two doctors.nI must mention that the day before the surgery dr. Levhi asked me where would i want him to make the cut... I answered: where do you think is better! Oh, and another thing that caught my attention...the doctor’s hands were literally shaking… but it was too late for me to change my mind.nAfter 4 years of torment, pain and the lack of interest from the doctors and the hospital, I don’t know how much money and time this simple surgery will cost me in the future, i don't know if i will be normal again and if I can return to a normal life. My skin is already ruined.nAfter many attempts I managed to get in touch with the doctor and the hospital, and the answer was to come in Turkey to see if and how it can be repaired, but everything at my expense again... consultations, airplane, accommodation, ultrasounds, etc.nI put a picture how it looks my breast today, maybe i can help in this way, future patients make a good decision for their lives.nI mention that I didn't have cancer and everything I say is confirmed by mammography, ultrasounds and specialist doctors from other top private clinics.
I feel I am in good hands when I see the doctors here. The facilities are clean, quiet and it is easy to access each division. Health personnel care about accomodating you to your needs, and they make sure to not make errors, which is usually a problem for most patients at other hospitals. Everyone is very nice, straight-forward. I have seen foreigners who don't speak Turkish receive help from a translator.
Great hospital with the newest equipment. We visited for a cancer check-up, were accompanied by Russian speaking hostesses, who organized queues. Doctors are passionate for patients. The clinic organized transfer from the airport and hotels. Would love to return!
