Worst experience with this one, they leave you alone taking no responsibility, they are sluggish, bunch of unprofessionals running this progarm. I won't recommend this aiesec Turkey.

A friend and I are both English teachers who work with a Cambridge school in Morocco. We applied for a volunteering project in Adana. My manager in Aiesec Marrakech didn't help with anything. She didn't offer information until I kept asking. She didn't tell me anything about the OPS. We paid 1500dh fees in Morocco, 6000dh for the flight tickets, and plus 700dh for the health insurance fees . To our surprise, 2 days before our flight, we were told we'll be staying with hosts and not in appartment, and then when we arrived in turkey we received a message saying we need to pay extra money for the accomodation. And when we said we don't have the money they said we either pay it or get our own accomodation, or we can drop out and get no certificate. After spending so much money on a VOLUNTEERING project when we could've been paid in our own school, we feel so deceived and disappointed . On a another note, a manager from Adana bluntly asked all of us to get her personal gifts from Morocco which is very unprofessional, we felt embarrassed and pressured.nWhat should we do now? We need help as soon as possible.

With Aiesec of Turkey you are only a NUMBER on the system,they are ready to let you down if you complain about something,Anyone apply for their projects would be acceptable,quantity not quality is their technique !!! Catching an Aiesecer to help you out is a big game !!!.nI had the worst experience in my life with LC Antalya,no pick up on arrival,team member kicked me off his house because LCP kicked him from Aiesec,then I had to deal one night outside I slept in a coffee with 0 help from Aiesec Antalya !!!nTalking to MC turkey is like a miracle ,they think they are in a castle and you are a slave !! you need a permission to talk to them,if they consider themselves as very good entity they should care about their EP's. But simply they are not !!nAll the bad experience I had and they never said sorry !!nCongratulations with your first star !! You really deserve it !! if there is nothing you would get it but unfortunately there is not !!nnDon't believe the other reviewers most of them are Aiesecer or ex one.nFor any questions please dont hesitate to contact me as I am trying to avoid this to happen to you.
