The Armenian Gregorian Church is on the third row, Nar Cicegi Street, inside the coastal road. It is the first and only Armenian Gregorian church established on these islands. The church was founded in 1857 and was dedicated to Surp Krikor The Illuminator, St. Gregory the Illuminator. The church took its current form after it was rebuilt in 1988.nnThe Mihrab curtain was taken from the Saint Auxent Armenian Church in Trabzon. There is a picture on the back of the altar showing the Virgin Mary and Jesus. There are two pictures on the right and left of the mihrab. On the left depicts the founder of the Armenian Gregorian Church, Enlightened St. Gregory, and the right one depicts St. Nerses, who was the Patriarch of the Armenian Gregorian Church in the half of the 4th century. The altar on the right shows Saint Gregory holding a model of the cathedral he built in Etchmiadzin, Armenia, and is dedicated to him. On the walls of the central part of the church are panels with beautiful works of stone carving in the medieval Armenian style. One of the panels was dedicated to the famous Armenian composer Gomidas, who had a summer residence in Kinali between 1909 and 1913.

There are not many attractions on the island of Kinaliada. Beach vacation only. But, if you are suddenly tired of the sun and the sea, and are drawn to spiritual food, then this is a great place to communicate with God. True, if you are Orthodox. It's very peaceful here. You can immerse yourself in your prayer and gain energy. And after the prayer, you can go to the sea again and swim.
