Halki seminary

Wonderful monastry located on top of a hill, access is prety hard if you are not in good form, but it definetly worth it.nYou can visit the garden adjacent to the monastery, a very beautiful and peaceful place.

A religious school which is not working nowadays, with beautiful elegant gardens and panoramic view of the Halki island. It is accessible on foot, or by carriage with horses from the port at a small price. The rooms of the school are open for the public.

Amazing place on the top of the island

Plenty of action happening in the garden with people getting the place ready for Spring. Very neat and tidy and well planned gardens with various themes. Access was allowed into the foyer of the main building and through past some of the old classrooms, but there was little to see. No access upstairs. The chapel outside in the central courtyard was beautifully restored on the outside, but unfortunately we were not given access inside.

I love the garden and the plants there are very beautiful.
