Kocabahçe Koyu

Lovely place we visited on the 8th of November 2020. There were only 2 boats (including us) tied up so it was lovely and super private. We had 3 starters but the salad stole the show so I wondered. How can a salad steal the show with atom and a lovely seafood borek as the other 2 contestants? I believe they grow everything (the vegetables and fruits) out back and that makes the difference. I didn’t love the atom but it was ok. Everyone else but me thought it was great. The seafood borek was amazing, and the runner up meze to the salad. We enjoyed a good red wine that was the most expensive item ~200 TL we ordered. Please see pictures. We tried Akya (?) fish on a sis (skewer) which I liked because I do not like to eat fish with bones in it. The other alternative was buğulama fish. My sister had kofte which she said she really liked. As she doesn’t seem to like much this was a pleasant surprise.nThe people are lovely too. I was chatting up the lady who was going through the olives she just picked up from the olive tree above. Now more people are there helping her out to separate the olives by colors. Cannot get more authentic than that. Did I mention I am writing this from one of the 2 hammocks in the entrance? Edit @Google I cannot add photos because of some iOS related sandbox pls fix

Sailor's paradise restaurant is autantic local place and excellent fish and meat dishes. You can also dock your boat with available moorings. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

The sea and nature are enormous, a wonderful place, but the prices are very high, fish and taste are mediocre. Because it's all farm fish. (There was a fishing rod fish, we ate it on the summer day) Those who approached by the boat were cold ... Anyway, there is no road, if you intend to dock by boat, I say go back immediately ... We stayed one night with our boat, SailBest Dutch group of 40 people He came and poisoned our night. They made noise until 02:30 at night, we told the manager, they walked on us. They said they are guests, you will manage, I did not understand what we are there. Anyway, we reported it to the Coast Guard and the gendarmerie and we were able to silence it.
