Van also has the lowest rents you can live. You can rent some places up to 350 liras. I rented a furnished house for 550 liras. Neighbors, the people of the country, the place is quiet and close to everything market, mosque VS. You can only get to the city center in 40 to 60 minutes with the city buses departing every half hour away from the city center and the minibuses departing when filled. It is a little bit at the top of the mountain, but the lake view is still great
