Alaca Minare Cami

Merzifon Alaca Minaret Masjid was established on a sloping land in Hacı Süleyman Mahallesi. It was built by Hoca Ali bin Kasım during the reign of Sultan Beyazıt II. The building, dating back to 1501, is known as the Alaca Minaret Masjid among the people due to the color of its brick minaret. It underwent two restorations in 1950 and 1968, but it largely retained its architectural character. There is a Double Bath built by Sultan Murat II in the immediate vicinity.

It's a small mosque. The work, which was understood to have been built by Hoca Ali bin Kasim in the period of H.906 / M.1500 during the time of Sultan Mehmed the son of Sultan Mehmed, is called “Alaca Minare Masjid arasında among the people due to the color of the brick minaret. The interior of the mosque is covered with cubic and dome.
